“IS THERE A SPECIFIC POPULATION YOU WORK WITH?”
Although I used to work with children, youth and families, I now specifically work with adult humans, particularly Helpers in my individual therapy sessions.
I define Helper as anyone who “helps” others for their main career, lifestyle. This includes: Parents, Caregivers, Social Workers, Doctors, Nurses, Lawyers, Police Officers, Fire Fighters, Teachers, Early Childhood Educators, Professionals and beyond.
I have also had many opportunities and experiences being invited to walk (work) alongside Indigenous Children, Youth and Families as they heal from the direct and intergenerational impacts of colonialism, Indian Residential School, and Indian Day School.

I have gained vast knowledge, strengths and skills working with people who have overcome, and survived difficult and/or traumatic experiences such as:

Trauma (childhood/adulthood)
Violence (domestic, sexual, gang)

HOW MUCH DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION COST?
I ask the folks that can afford $145/hour to pay this. For folks who need a different rate, we can have a discussion as I also offer a sliding scale of $110 - $145/hour. I truly believe in therapy and the importance of tending to our mental- overall wellbeing.
